Despite HFC's failure to secure a return to the 3rd league, it is likely that Eshele's contract with the club will not be extended. Meanwhile, FCC's attack still faces some problem areas, as both Ted Tattermusch and Elias Löder are yet to decide on their contract extensions. Cemal Sezer is still working his way back, while Erik Weinhauer has already signed for FC Erzgebirge Aue. The departure of goalkeeper Alexios Dedidis, who spent 17 years with the club before joining league rival Hertha Zehlendorf, has also been confirmed.
