JCB strengthens Australian footprint with Adaptalift Group as national dealer

JCB is expanding its presence in Australia with a major new partnership and investment. The British manufacturer has signed Adaptalift Group as its national dealer, aiming to boost service and support across the country. The deal was finalised at a ceremony in Melbourne on 19 March 2026. The expansion follows a detailed plan announced late last year. JCB outlined investments in new warehouses, spare parts supply, and a logistics partnership with DHL Supply Chain. These moves were designed to reduce machine downtime and speed up customer support.

At the signing event, JCB Deputy Chairman George Bamford confirmed the company's commitment to the Australian market. Managing Director of Sales Tim Burnhope added that the scale of investment demonstrated JCB's long-term focus on the region. The partnership will see Adaptalift Group represent JCB in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.

JCB Chief Executive Graeme Macdonald expects the changes to deliver faster, more reliable service for Australian customers. Adaptalift Group's Chief Executive Lindsay Whiffen described the collaboration as blending British manufacturing strength with Australian operational expertise. The family-led company, founded in Britain, remains a key player in global construction equipment. The deal marks a significant step in JCB's strategy to grow its global reputation. Improved service support and a stronger dealer network will help meet demand in Australia. Customers can now expect quicker access to spare parts and more efficient maintenance.
