Jazz and Blues Festival in Brasov resumes in August, featuring live shows, movies, and family-friendly activities all around the city
Brașov Jazz & Blues Festival 2022: A Multi-Stage Celebration of Jazz, Blues, Gospel, and Live Improvisation
The Brașov Jazz & Blues Festival is set to return for its 13th edition, transforming the city into a vibrant hub of music from August 14 to 17.
This year, the festival will feature nightly jam sessions at O'Peter's Irish Pub, intimate evening concerts at JUNO Wine Garden, and free-entry jazz concerts in Piată Brassaï, in partnership with the Romanian Musicians' Union (UCIMR).
One of the highlights of the festival will be a performance by gospel singer Sharrie Williams at the fortified church in Bod on August 17. Due to limited seating, tickets for this event will be required.
Concerts on the festival's main blues stage in Piată Sf. Ioan will also require tickets or passes. Performers at this stage include Curtis Salgado, Sharrie Williams, Zac Harmon, Sari Schorr, and both Romanian and European acts.
