Jazeera Airways expands Indian network with two new direct routes
Jazeera Airways has expanded its Indian network by adding Ahmedabad and Thiruvananthapuram to its routes. The airline now connects Kuwait to eight cities in India, fully restoring its pre-pandemic operations under Project Vande Bharat. Since relaunching on 20 March, over 1,300 passengers have travelled between the two countries.
The airline remains the only carrier operating direct flights between Kuwait and India. Its latest additions, Ahmedabad and Thiruvananthapuram, improve access to western and southern regions of the country. Passengers using these routes benefit from streamlined check-in procedures and smooth transfers at Qaisumah Airport.
Jazeera Airways plans to grow its network further. In the coming phases, it will introduce more destinations and increase flight frequencies. Long-term plans include adding 10 more Indian cities, focusing on high-demand locations and underserved regions like Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. The expansion will also prioritise connectivity to economic hubs across northern, eastern, and southern India.
Bookings for all routes are now open through the airline's website and mobile app.
The expansion strengthens travel links between Kuwait and India, offering more options for passengers. With eight cities already restored and further growth planned, Jazeera Airways continues to play a key role in regional connectivity. The airline's phased approach ensures gradual access to additional destinations in the future.
