Jaxson Dart, the brand-spanking new NY Giants quarterback, sure as hell wasn't shy on the first day of rookie camp. Sporting an "attack everything" mentality, Dart got right to work, showing off his command of the field like a seasoned pro.

Now, let's be clear: nobody's crowning him king just yet. With vets Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston ahead of him on the depth chart, Dart's job is to learn and adapt, not take the spotlight just yet. But sometimes first impressions are more than just that - they're a sign of things to come.

Rookie running back Cam Skattebo couldn't help but gush about Dart after a soggy practice. "That kid is way smarter than a rookie should be," Skattebo said. "I mean, I've heard him call plays back-to-back, like it's nothing. He's a walking football encyclopedia."
