Mendes envisions a title fight between McGregor and Michael Chandler as a promising matchup.
"The creation of a 165-pound division could be tremendously beneficial for MMA, mirroring boxing's multiple weight classes and offering more opportunities for fighters," Mendes expressed in a conversation with Bitcoin Casinos. "Such a title fight between McGregor and Chandler would be an excellent means to establish the new division on a grand scale."
Mendes' sentiments underscore the notion that a successful three-title win for McGregor, who previously held championships in featherweight and lightweight, would etch his name indelibly in MMA history.
