In the world of gaming and Hollywood, a shocking allegation has been made against actor Jason Momoa, best known for his role as former hero Garrett Garrison in the blockbuster adaptation of the cult game 'Minecraft: The Movie'. Streaming star Rachell 'Valkyrae' Hofstetter, who also secured a minor role in the movie, has accused Momoa of being the biggest jerk she's met on set, citing his behaviour towards the crew.
Valkyrae's allegations have caused a stir, with fans speculating that they could be the reason for her sudden exit from the film. Soon after her podcast interview in late 2024, Valkyrae confirmed that her planned cameo had been cut from the movie. The movie's production team has not publicly addressed the reason for Valkyrae's missing scene.
Valkyrae alleged that Momoa put down and shouted at the crew, which she found disappointing. She cryptically stated that she would rather skip her thirty-second scene than get sued. Warner Bros. and Momoa himself have not publicly commented on the allegations.
Jack Black is also a cast member in the movie, which has been running in theaters worldwide since early April. Many streaming stars, whose careers are closely tied to 'Minecraft', also secured minor roles in the movie. Valkyrae, however, attempted to downplay the incident, suggesting it might have been due to an intense, emotional scene and Momoa still being in character.
Despite the controversy, 'Minecraft: The Movie' continues to be a cinematic hit. Valkyrae, on the other hand, stated that she would not want to work under such conditions. The future of her career in Hollywood remains uncertain, as there is no available information about who was responsible for the decision to remove her scene from the film.
