The limelight-loving actor-musician Jared Leto has been accused of sexual misconduct, according to AirMail magazine. Nine women have come forward, claiming these incidents occurred when they were still minors, and Leto, they say, was aware of their ages.
The women's stories to AirMail paint a troubling picture. One interviewee, 16 in 2006, with Leto being 35 at the time, recalls Leto grabbing her hand near a café in LA, getting her number, and later calling her late at night with lewd questions.
"I'm not sure if he was high or something... It was the strangest, most uncomfortable voice," she recalled about one of the calls.
Another woman shares more shocking details. She claims she exchanged messages with Leto when she was a minor, and during visits to his residence, he posed inappropriate questions. According to her, when she turned 18, the musician suddenly disrobed and began masturbating in front of her, pressuring her to do the same.

Model Laura LaRue spoke of meeting at 16 at a Beverly Hills party, where Leto, then 36, allegedly stared at her intensely, learned her age, and requested her contacts. Later, during a visit to his residence, the artist, she claims, sauntered out in the buff.
"He just strolled out like it was everyday... I thought maybe that's what grown men do," LaRue admitted.
Leto's representative countered that their communication was not "sexual or inappropriate," and later, LaRue allegedly worked as his assistant, which "underscores the lack of anything inappropriate." LaRue denies this.
DJ Elle Taylor took to social media, stating, "You ain't really in LA until Jared Leto tries to muscle in on you backstage... in a kilt. And a snow cap." She later clarified to AirMail that the incident occurred when she was 17, "He knew my age, and he didn't care. What he did was predatory, sickening, and inexcusable."
The accusations go beyond isolated events. Women are speaking out about a pattern of behavior: late-night calls seeking personal details, surprise invitations. One interviewee stated that such behavior by Leto towards young girls "has been an open secret" in the entertainment industry for a while. Details have also emerged about parties at Leto's mansion, where young models were reportedly recruited. One invitation started with the words "Hi, kids." Leto's representative stated that the musician "did not write or approve" the invitation and only saw it "recently for the first time." At the parties, according to one attendee, Leto remained sober and in control.
"The women I spoke to say that the alleged past behavior of Leto was not a phase, but rather a long-standing pattern that has been, and continues to be, widely known in certain circles," the AirMail journalist concludes.
A representative for the 53-year-old Leto flatly denied all allegations, including those made by Taylor, labeling them "spuriously false." This is not the first time such whispers have swirled around the artist; in 2005, the New York Post reported on his interest in underage models.
The controversial allegations against Jared Leto by multiple women, as reported in AirMail magazine, involve incidents of sexual misconduct with underage individuals, contradicting Leto's representative's assertion of non-sexual or inappropriate communication. Moreover, the pattern of behavior revealed includes late-night calls, surprise invitations, and a disturbing trend that has been reportedly known in the entertainment industry, according to the AirMail journalist's conclusion.
