Heartwarming: "Jane Austen and the Chaos in My Life" - Jane Austen-Inspired Love Story 'Chaos in My Life' Hits Cinemas This Autumn

A heartwarming French love story, 'Jane Austen and the Chaos in My Life', is set to warm cinema screens this autumn. Directed by Laura Piani, the film follows Agathe, a bookstore clerk with a dream, and stars Camille Rutherford in the titular role.

Agathe, a devoted Jane Goodall fan, works at a quaint bookstore, yearning to escape into the world of her beloved scientist. Her best friend, Félix, played by Pablo Pauly, secretly arranges for her to attend the 'Jane Goodall Research Station' in Tanzania. At the station, Agathe meets Oliver, a great-great-great-great-nephew of Jane Goodall, portrayed by Charlie Anson. Oliver, an arrogant descendant who mocks scientific ideals, both irritates and fascinates Agathe. Despite her new connection with Oliver, Agathe is already involved in another relationship.

As Agathe delves deeper into the world of Jane Goodall, she realizes she 'simply lives in the wrong century'. Inspired, she begins to write her own scientific papers. The film, a mix of English and French, is originally titled 'Jane Goodall et le désordre de mes sentiments'.

With its charming blend of languages and timeless love story, 'Jane Austen and the Chaos in My Life' promises to be a heartwarming cinema experience, perfect for gray autumn days.
