Villeneuve's collaboration with the James Bond franchise doesn't come as a surprise, considering he's currently working on "Dune: Part Three". Meanwhile, the script for the upcoming film is being penned by British author, producer, and director Steven Knight. Knight is best recognised for his work on the acclaimed television series Peaky Blinders and has also written notable films such as Eastern Promises and Allied[1][2][3].
Knight's contributions to the cinematic world extend beyond the world of television, with screenplays for films like "Dirty Pretty Things" and "Allied" under his belt[4]. This marks the first James Bond film under the leadership of Amazon MGM Studios.
The production of this highly anticipated film is being overseen by Amy Pascal and David Heyman.
