Born in the quaint town of Williamstown, Massachusetts, Jake's journey to BMX was far from conventional. Originally passionately pursuing snowboarding and hockey, he eventually found his calling on two wheels.
Jake started his bike journey with racing, eventually moving on to trails and park before transitioning into street riding, becoming one of the most respected street technicians in BMX today.
Why the move from racing to freestyle?
It was all about the Thunder video contest win—seeing the possibilities on a BMX bike left Jake thinking, "Holy shit, my bike can do this?"
The rest, as they say, is history.
Now, Jake is riding for Sunday Bikes, The Garden, and ONSOMESHIT, while working tirelessly on his nostalgic gem, Unabinner.
He also boasts a lineup of signature products, including the Sunday Street Sweeper frame, tires, 4-piece bars, and a complete BMX street bike.

Jake Seeley's Best BMX Videos
Sunday - LEDGEISLATION
Ledges are my jam. Aren't they yours?
Jake sure loves to grind 'em, and this video delivers all the good stuff we crave. It's got so much technical awesomeness that I've already watched it five times, and I think I'll go for round six!
I won't even attempt to list the tricks—I'd fill up this page, and it'd ruin your viewing pleasure.
REAL BMX 2021
Jake's riding in this one is so complicated that I can't even wrap my head around it. But he makes it look smooth as silk.
One of my favorite combinations is the feeble grind to hard 180 to double peg grind and then a 90 into a feeble again over to double peg and then 180 out.
I told you, it's intricate!
The heavy and intriguing music, coupled with Mike Mastroni behind the lens, make this a solid must-watch.
Sunday Street Sweeper V2 Tire Promo
This tire, designed specifically for street riding, boasts a 2.4" width and supports up to 100 PSI. Ever wondered about the optimal BMX tire pressure? I've got you covered!
Let's move on to the video.
This one is fast—fast like a cheetah! Yet, Jake's classic technical stunts never disappoint.
The chosen music, Lich King, puts the icing on the cake.
Street Smarts
Jake's uniqueness and innovative spirit shine through in his videos, making them unpredictable and packed with technical wizardry.
The wallride to railride to barspin was rad.
But there's even a one-footed topside toothpick in this one—totally unexpected!
By the way, I think Jake has one of the best street lookbacks in the game.
"Headlights" Video Part
This timeless video is a classic—one that will endure within the realms of BMX, regardless of its progression.
You'll rarely see something "traditional" in a JS video, and this one is no different.
Full of epic stunts and original spot usages that'll hype you up to hit the streets and get your pegs to work.
The setup with a ledge and a rail was so rad—double peg to rail ride and then a 180 to smith. I rewatched it a few times, picturing the ride of my life.
Enjoy!
Sunday - Grow Up
According to Walter Pieringer, there were several tricks in Jake's Grow Up part for Sunday that required hundreds of attempts, with multiple pulled ones. Yet, Jake, a perfectionist, wanted each clip to be perfect.
The collective effort resulted in a MASTERPIECE.
If you ever need inspiration, just watch a Seeley video!
Welcome To Lotek
Even though Jake's welcome to Lotek video is short and "old," it's brimming with amazingness.
And yes, Jake's imagination and creativity were already apparent back then, just as they are now.
The pegs to wall ride is insane. But I also really like the smith grind to x-up peg grind, to quick x-up ride to 180—what a combo!
Broadcasting Live From The Berkshires
Jake's eye for spot usage is exceptional, and it goes all the way back to 2014 and beyond.
But it's also fascinating to see Jake Seeley's evolution through this videography. His style clearly changed, but his creative mind remains.
Are you ready to revisit some history? It's too good to pass up!
