Jake Oettinger shines as NHL’s Second Star of the Week with six-game streak

Oettinger’s impressive week began with a 30-save shutout against the New Jersey Devils on December 3. He followed this with 16 saves in a 4-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks two days later. His run concluded with a 3-2 shootout win against the Pittsburgh Penguins on December 7, where he stopped all three shootout attempts and 27 shots in regulation.

Oettinger’s recent performances have solidified his position as a key player for the Dallas Stars. With 14 wins already this season, he continues to set the pace among NHL goaltenders. His consistency and clutch saves have been vital in the team’s success so far.
