Jaguars' Coen, 49ers' Saleh Clash After Jacksonville's Win
Tempers flared after the Jacksonville Jaguars' 26-21 victory over the 49ers in Week 4. A heated argument erupted between Jacksonville head coach Liam Coen and 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, who previously led the Jets and returned to the 49ers this season.
The incident began when Saleh accused the Jaguars of employing a 'really advanced signal-stealing system'. Coen, in response, told Saleh to 'keep my name out of your mouth'. Both coaches later downplayed the incident, with Coen stating, 'It was just a bit of post-game banter, nothing more.' The Jaguars' win was their second in a row, while the 49ers dropped to 2-2.
Despite the heated exchange, both coaches have moved on. The Jaguars look to build on their momentum, while the 49ers aim to bounce back in Week 5.
