Jägermeister defies slump and sells more herbal liqueur - Jägermeister defies market slump with 7.7% sales growth in 2025
Jägermeister has reported strong sales growth in 2025, despite a wider decline in the global spirits market. The company sold 117.6 million bottles last year, marking a 7.7% rise from 2024. However, its Teremana tequila brand faced a drop in demand during the same period.
The brand's revenue figures have seen fluctuations in recent years. In 2023, Jägermeister earned €962 million, but this fell by 10% in 2024 to €866 million. A slight recovery followed in 2025, with revenue climbing to €882 million.
While Jägermeister's core product thrived, its Teremana tequila brand struggled. Sales of the tequila dropped from 14.8 million bottles in 2024 to 13.3 million in 2025.
CEO Michael Volke remains cautious about the year ahead. He expects only modest growth in 2026 and no significant boost from international markets. The company's performance stands out as many high-proof spirits brands face declining demand worldwide.
Jägermeister's 2025 results show resilience in a challenging market. The brand's flagship product gained ground, even as its tequila division lost sales. Leadership anticipates steady but limited progress in the coming year.
