Jackie Chan’s Shang-High Noon and Shanghai Knights Return in Limited Mediabook Editions

Retro Gold 63 Filmvertrieb has announced two major Blu-ray re-releases for April 15, 2026. The independent action thriller The Killing Machine and the Jackie Chan films Shang-High Noon and Shanghai Knights will arrive as limited mediabook editions. Pre-orders for these special sets open on January 11, 2026, at 7 PM in the company’s online shop.

The Killing Machine will be available in five cover variants, each including a DVD and a booklet by Jean Rises. The Blu-ray features 1080p resolution with AVC encoding, German and English audio in DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0, and German subtitles. Bonus materials include the original trailer and an interview, matching previous releases by Film- und Fernsehjuwelen. The film was produced by Declan O’Brien, Jeff Geoffray, and Walter Josten.

Shang-High Noon and Shanghai Knights will also receive limited mediabook editions, each with a booklet by Van Davidator. A bonus DVD comes with a new Jackie Chan special. Like The Killing Machine, these releases will offer five distinct cover designs. Pre-orders launch exclusively on Retro Gold 63’s website on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 7 PM. All editions will ship on April 15, 2026, the same day they become available in stores.

The re-releases provide collectors with new packaging, booklets, and bonus content. The Killing Machine retains its original technical specifications, while the Jackie Chan films include a fresh special feature. Both sets will be limited, with pre-orders starting in early January.
