Jack Black's energized rendition of "Super Mario Bros." dedicated to Princess Peach stole the show at the Jonas Brothers concert. Dressed in a vibrant green suit and an orange Iroquois headdress, a nod to his Bowser character, Black dazzled the audience alongside a "Super Mario Bros."-themed pianist. He humbly dedicated the song to his "good friends," the Jonas Brothers.
The stage was electric with the "School of Rock" cast's vibes, and the performance gained even more importance when it was announced that "Peaches" was up for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song.
Besides the Golden Globe nomination, "Super Mario Bros." was also recognized for Best Animation and Motion Picture and Box Office Achievement Award, marking a new category in the Golden Globes. The film broke box office records upon its debut in April and became one of the ten animated films to gross over a billion dollars worldwide.
Adding to the excitement, the Jonas Brothers have finished recording the first part of their five-album series. Their One Night Tour, starting with a Brooklyn show, will culminate with their return to New Zealand on February 27.
