J.K. Rowling, the renowned writer behind "Harry Potter," announces intentions to pen six additional novels.
In the world of literature, J.K. Rowling's name is synonymous with magic and mystery. Known for creating the beloved Harry Potter series, Rowling has also ventured into the realm of crime novels under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.
Rowling has a unique approach to writing, often penning the last chapter of a book before she even begins the first. This unconventional method has been a part of her creative process, even in her works such as the Cormoran Strike series. Under the alias Galbraith, she has published four movies featuring the private detective: 'The Cuckoo's Calling', 'The Silkworm', 'Career of Evil', and the latest, 'Lethal White'.
After the Strike series, Rowling has six more ideas for new movies waiting in the wings. One of these ideas is for an eighth movie about private detective Cormoran Strike, titled 'Troubled Blood'. Rowling plans to write two more Strike movies after 'Troubled Blood'.
The Harry Potter series, published between 1997 and 2007, has been translated into over 80 languages and has sold more than 500 million copies worldwide. The success of this series has allowed Rowling to explore other genres and ideas.
Ideas for new movies often come to Rowling during the process of working on novels. Sometimes, these ideas appear completely unexpectedly, even during mundane tasks. When this happens, Rowling immediately jots down these ideas in a notebook.
Rowling enjoys writing by hand, especially at night. Despite experiencing a brief writer's block only once, during the process of writing 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets' in 1998, Rowling continues to write with passion and dedication.
Apart from the main series and the Strike movies, Rowling has written three additional books, including 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'. In 2012, she released her socially-political novel 'The Casual Vacancy'.
Rowling's writing journey is a testament to her creativity and dedication. With six more ideas for new movies, readers can look forward to more captivating stories from this extraordinary author.
