Get ready for an electrifying two-day event - the Jimmy George Memorial Overall Volleyball Championship for school students! Happening on May 1 and 2, 2025, at the United Indian School (UIS), Kuwait, this extravaganza promises to showcase youthful talent, sportsmanship, and team spirit.

Organized by the Indian Volleyball Association Kuwait (IVAK), this annual event brings together Indian schools from across Kuwait in a fierce battle of skill and teamwork. A remarkable lineup of Under-14 and Under-19 categories for both boys and girls will be vying for the coveted title.

Topsy-Turvy Matches and Epic Moments

One exciting highlight of the tournament was the Under-14 Boys division, where the home team, UIS Team A, took the trophy. UIS Team B, the runner-up, put up a valiant fight, but it wasn't enough to take the crown. Ansel Shibu, a formidable player from UIS, was awarded Best Player. Meanwhile, the Promising Player title went to Steeve, also from UIS. The Under-19 Boys category experienced a similar powerhouse performance by UIS Team A, who clinched the first place. Ishan Ahamed was named Best Player, and Daron Michael earned the Promising Player title, both, hailing from UIS.

The dominance of UIS teams does not end there! Their B teams showcased remarkable talent, securing third place in both divisions. Mention should also go to Coach Alexander Mathew, whose leadership and guidance steered the UIS teams to victory. Kudos to the competitors, who showcased determination and passion throughout the tournament.
