In a unique display of fandom and admiration, a Mini car, fondly named the "KloppoCar," has been transformed into a mobile tribute to Liverpool FC's charismatic coach, Jürgen Klopp. The car, which began its journey last spring in Dresden, is now adorned with around 150 portraits and football and Klopp-related motifs.
The KloppoCar's creation was spearheaded by a group of dedicated fans who purchased the Mini on eBay, a car that was previously owned by Klopp himself. The car's branding was entrusted to "Traffic Art," a tram driver from Dresden, who used motifs based on Klopp's biography to decorate the vehicle.
The first signature on the car belongs to Ulf Kirsten, a former DDR and BRD national player, followed by Club boss Ute Groth, also a DFB presidency candidate, and performance center director Marcus Italiani. A notable image features a female national football player holding a coffee service, a nod to a visit to the Tusa performance center for girls' football in Düsseldorf.
The car is a testament to Klopp's journey, featuring images of him as a youth, his first coach, the day he played despite a broken arm, his successes, and failures. It also boasts signatures from nearly 800 people, including prominent and less prominent figures. Campino, an "Reds" fan and Klopp's friend, has not signed yet but is expected to do so in the near future.
The Dresden public transport driver and artist had tears in his eyes when he realized that each player had signed under the correct portrait. When Klopp saw the car in its new guise for the first time, he is said to have remarked, "There's my whole life on there, I'll probably have to buy it back someday."
The photoshoot ended with battle cries and the realization that the German women's football team has collected more successful titles than the men. Over 160 players train at the performance center for girls' football according to a coordinated concept. The KloppoCar is a testament to the passion and dedication of fans and footballers alike, creating a moving tribute to one of the most beloved coaches in the game today.
In the spirit of sports fanaticism, the KloppoCar, now bearing over 150 sports-analysis centered on football and Klopp, was conceived by enthusiasts who purchased a Mini previously owned by Klopp himself. This mobile homage to the charismatic Liverpool FC coach further evolved as it was decked with motifs based on his biography by a Dresden tram driver, known as Traffic Art.
