Your visit here this time around is more than just a casual drop-in. It's a significant event in our bilateral cooperation. We hold this relationship in high regard, and we're keen on bolstering our friendship and mutual trust. It's no fluke that Italy serves as Kazakhstan's third-largest trading partner in the EU, and the biggest in the continent. I'm certain we should keep the momentum going. I mean, your visit is expected to provide a significant impetus to the ongoing cooperation between our two countries, - beamed the President of Kazakhstan.
Giorgia Meloni:
- permit me to give thanks for the invite and the heartfelt welcome, as well as for granting me the chance to graciously speak at the Astana International Forum, which is rapidly turning into a potent platform for discussions. We consider Kazakhstan a cornerstone partner for Italy, and this region as a crucial hub. Dialogue matters, and you're well aware of that. Kazakhstan is an essential collaborator for Italy in numerous sectors. Our collaborative efforts have always been quite fruitful.
