Italy Emerges Victorious in the Eurovision Song Competition

The Eurovision Song Contest 2021 took place in Rotterdam, with Italy emerging as the victor. This is the third time Italy has claimed the coveted title in the history of the contest, following its previous victories in 1964 and 1990.

The winning song, "Zitti e buoni", was performed by the band Maneskin. The contest results were shared via various media platforms, with Italy receiving a total of 524 points. France finished in second place with 499 points, while Sweden came in third with 466 points.

Unfortunately, Germany finished in second-to-last place out of 26 countries. Jendrik's performance of "I Don't Feel Hate" received only two jury points and one point from viewers, resulting in a total of 3 points. This places Germany in 25th (last) position.

Interestingly, while Germany as a whole voted for Lithuania, German viewers appeared to favour a different contender. The United Kingdom finished in last place, with no points from the jury and no points from the televoting public.

The contest was reported by dts Nachrichtenagentur, who shared the news of Italy's victory with audiences across the globe. As the dust settles on the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, fans eagerly await the announcement of the venue for next year's event.
