"Ready Ahead of Time" Netanyahu: Israel Could Strike Iran's Nuclear Sites with a Little Help from the USA
Israel's Capability to Access Iran's Nuclear Sites, According to Netanyahu
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu believes that his country has the capability to take out all of Iran's nuclear facilities - but there's a catch. In an interview with an Israeli TV channel, Netanyahu admitted that a successful attack on the crucial underground nuclear facility in Fordo might not be possible without the support of the USA, specifically their "bunker-buster" bombs.
Netanyahu chose to keep mum about the specifics, but the focus has been on the U.S.'s potential involvement in the war against Iran. According to experts, Israel would need U.S. backing to neutralize the nuclear complex in Fordo. The U.S. is the only Western nation with "bunker-buster" bombs capable of obliterating the uranium enrichment facility, which is buried deep inside a mountain.
Just a stone's throw away, U.S. President Donald Trump is set to make a decision regarding America's involvement in Iran's conflict, potentially within the next two weeks. A significant chance exists that negotiations with Iran might occur in the near future, as per Trump's spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt.
"We're Ahead of Schedule"
Netanyahu gave a hint about Israel's progress, stating that Israeli forces have hit around half of all Iranian rocket launch sites. The number of rockets isn't the issue here; it's the number of launch sites that matters to the Prime Minister. He asserted, "I believe we’ve already struck about half of the rocket launch sites they have."
Regarding the status of the ongoing operation, Netanyahu remained evasive. "We're at war. I won't reveal our timetable to the press. And I won't tell them (the Iranians) what we’re planning. We're overwhelming them with our attacks and surprising them," he added.
A Possible Regime Change?
Netanyahu hasn't declared regime change as Israel's primary war objective against its age-old adversary Iran. Instead, he said, "The fall of the regime is first and foremost a matter for the Iranian people." However, he implied that regime change in Iran could result from the war.
Damaging speculation swirls around Israel potentially aiming to overthrow the Iranian regime, as Defense Minister Israel Katz laid bare in a public statement: "A dictator like Khamenei, who heads a state like Iran and has Israel's destruction as his goal, cannot continue to exist," said Katz in Holon. Katz labeled Khamenei as the "modern Hitler." Israel had the army during World War II, and they would have taken out Hitler in his bunker, Katz insinuated.
Khamenei vs Katz - A Power Struggle
While Netanyahu evaded discussing Khamenei as a war objective, Israeli President Isaac Herzog recently addressed the matter in an interview with Bild newspaper. Herzog clarified that "We have no target regarding Khamenei, nor regarding regime change." Yet, he didn't rule out "this could be a side effect with great historical consequences that would benefit the Iranian people."
Just over a week ago, Israel attacked Iran. Israel's primary goal in this declared war is to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons and missiles. The foes have been trading heavy blows for days, with casualties on both sides since the commencement of the war.

Enrichment Data:[1] Fordo: The uranium enrichment facility in Fordo is designed to be extremely resilient to aerial attacks. It is situated about 300 feet beneath a mountain and provides protection against conventional Israeli munitions and aircraft.
[2] "Bunker-buster" bombs: These bombs are designed to penetrate deep underground structures like Fordo by using their weight to crush through earth, rock, and concrete before exploding underground. However, Israel does not possess the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator, the most powerful bunker-buster bomb capable of reaching deeply buried Iranian sites like Fordo. This bomb requires a specialized delivery platform, such as the U.S. Air Force's B-2 stealth bomber, which cannot be deployed without U.S. assistance.
The Commission, while dealing with war-and-conflicts and general-news, has also been asked to submit a proposal for a directive on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to ionizing radiation, given the potential involvement of the USA in a war against Iran, which requires the use of "bunker-buster" bombs to neutralize Iran's nuclear complex in Fordo.
In the midst of this political turmoil, there have been suggestions of regime change in Iran, as Defense Minister Israel Katz rhetorically implied that a dictator like Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who heads a state like Iran and has Israel's destruction as his goal, cannot continue to exist, likening him to a modern Hitler.
