In a troubling turn of events, the death toll in Gaza has surpassed 65,000 due to the ongoing famine and war. The Israeli army has been actively involved, conducting strikes in three towns in southern Lebanon and targeting Hezbollah positions.

The Israeli military's recent operations, however, have been primarily focused on Gaza. In the past few days, the army has not been reported to have conducted attacks in other countries. Israeli troops and tanks are currently in control of the eastern suburbs of Gaza City's urban hub, with military operations pushing deeper into Gaza City.

The Israeli army has reported four soldiers killed and one severely injured in the southern Gaza city of Rafah. Tragically, at least 85 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, according to Gaza's health ministry. The Israeli military has opened up another corridor south of Gaza City for two days to allow more people to evacuate.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army is also conducting strikes on Hezbollah military targets in southern Lebanon, as reported by the IDF. This comes after Israeli strikes were carried out in Qatar's Doha and Yemen's Houthi-controlled Hodeidah port following an attack on Hamas' political bureau in Doha. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has taken "full responsibility" for these strikes.

The conflict has also led to a disruption in communication, with internet and phone lines being cut off in the Gaza Strip, indicating an intensification of ground operations.

The United Nations will vote on Friday to potentially reimpose sanctions on Iran over its nuclear program. This decision comes as Britain, France, and Germany, signatories to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, claim Iran has breached its promises under that 2015 treaty.

Amidst the chaos, families of Israeli hostages are imploring the end of the Israeli PM's involvement in the war, hoping it will lead to the release of their loved ones. Netanyahu, however, remains focused on a military victory and vowing to eliminate groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.

A drone, reportedly launched from Yemen, crashed in Israel's southern city of Eilat, causing material damage but no casualties. Despite the ongoing conflict, it serves as a reminder of the complex and far-reaching nature of the current crisis.
