Israeli aggression upon Qatar and its consequent impacts

In the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, Qatar finds itself at the center of a growing storm. The Israeli occupation has expressed a desire to remove Qatar from the mediation process, citing Qatar's impartial role as a concern.

This decision comes amidst criticism within Israel regarding Prime Minister Netanyahu's allowance of Qatari funds to enter Gaza, allegedly aiding Hamas in preparing for Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. The U.S. administration's permissive stance towards Qatar's sovereignty being targeted has strengthened Qatar's position.

Recently, Israel carried out an attack on a Hamas delegation in Qatar, targeting senior Hamas leaders responsible for orchestrating attacks against Israel, including the October 7 massacre, and directing the war against Israel. The attack was aimed at weakening Hamas's leadership during ongoing ceasefire negotiations, demonstrating Israel’s stance against Hamas’s terror operations.

Israel's aggressive actions have not gone unnoticed. Qatar is expected to change the dynamics of mediation and punish Israel for its aggression in various ways. Turkey, one of Qatar's closest allies in the region, is present at the Doha summit, and several other countries have announced their full support for Qatar. Turkey's security and military relations with Qatar, as well as with the rest of the Gulf states, are expected to increase.

The Israeli occupation's actions have also sparked international criticism, leading to an increase in Israel's isolation. Differences between Turkey and Israel in Syria may lead to intense discussions about confrontation with Turkey. Israel's emergence as a destabilizing factor for the Gulf region may reconsider the normalization of relations between Israel and the Arab Gulf region.

Moreover, Israel's attack on Qatar could be a result of Netanyahu's desire to atone for allowing Qatari funds to enter Gaza. New concepts in security and defense are expected to emerge in countries with American systems that did not activate against Israeli missiles.

Israel's actions against Qatar have also been met with opposition from the media. Al-Jazeera's open media campaign broadcasting events from Gaza to the world has troubled Israel, as it exposes the ongoing conflict to international scrutiny.

As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how Qatar will respond to Israel's aggression and whether this will impact the future of mediation efforts in the Gaza conflict.
