"We've Created Quite a Setback"
Israel views Iran's nuclear program as several years from completion
Israel's Foreign Minister screams, "Iran must not join the nuclear club," slamming the Islamic Republic's atomic ambitions. The nation's relentless assaults - particularly on scholars and military personnel - have left the nuclear bomb development program in tatters.
Israel credit's its attacks on Iran for pushing back the country's nuclear weapon dreams by several years. "I reckon, according to the intel we hear, we've put the brakes on Iran's nukes for at least two-three years," said Foreign Minister Gideon Saar in a chat with Bild. "Taking out the big cheeses driving the nuc-armament program is a significant victory," Saar asserted.
Saar remains determined. "We've already accomplished a lot. But we ain't done yet. We'll keep pushing till we've covered all our bases to eliminate this threat," Saar mentioned, hinting at more action in Iran. In an interview with NHK, he added, "We ain't gonna let Iran become another North Korea. Iran's been mimicking North Korea's path, thinking nukes ensure the regime's security. But we ain't gonna let it happen in Iran."
Chit-Chat, Let's Talk
When NHK asked Saar if Israel would agree to a diplomatic solution, he responded, "To be frank, I believe Iran ain't interested in a resolution. Iran's just puttin' on a show for the world." He continued, "Iran's diplomats would use discussions to deceive, buy time, and make progress. I don't buy their change of heart." He was even blunter with Bild, claiming that "Iranian negotiators are master deceivers; they will use negotiations to deceive the global community."
Cats and Dogs Fighting
Wadephul agrees, "The Iranians ain't serious about peace talks." The leadership in Tehran clams up over negotiations as long as the attacks persist. Saar noted, "Not a shred of progress was made even before the attacks started." He has yet to see any legit offer from the Iranians that suggests they've had a change of heart, the Foreign Minister continued. "Currently, they ain't cooperating with the IAEA. The inspections are on hold."
