Titled: "Unfortunate Discoveries in Gaza as Israel Continues Hostage Rescue Operations"
In the ongoing endeavor to free the over 200 individuals held captive in the Gaza Strip, Israel managed to retrieve the bodies of two more victims during the ceasefire. Unfortunately, these individuals, a 27-year-old woman and a 36-year-old Israeli military officer, were reported dead upon recovery.
The army announced the identification of the deceased individuals, with the woman having been abducted during the Hamas incident at the Supernova festival, and the military officer being taken prisoner in the Gaza Strip on October 7. The families were notified of their loved ones' unfortunate demises on Tuesday. The army remained tight-lipped about the circumstances leading to the victims' deaths.
The son of Israel's former Chief of General Staff, Gadi Eisenkot, was also among those lost during the operations. The Israeli army confirmed the death of Eisenkot's 25-year-old son last week, further escalating the human toll of the conflict.
The military had previously stated that 138 individuals remained captive in Gaza, but it remains uncertain whether this count includes those whom Hamas recently declared dead. Since the initiation of the Gaza war, Israeli forces have recovered several bodies within the territory.
According to Israeli sources, approximately 240 individuals have been abducted as a result of Hamas's unprecedented attack on border towns in Israel. About 105 hostages were subsequently released following a deal between the Israeli government and Hamas, with Israel in turn freeing 240 Palestinian prisoners from its prisons.

In a recent development, the remains of four hostages, including Oded Lifshitz (an 83-year-old retired journalist and peace activist) and the Bibas family (Shiri Bibas and her two children, Ariel and Kfir), have been identified. Despite the claims made by Hamas and Islamic Jihad, the cause of death for these individuals remains unconfirmed by Israel.
