Israeli Air Force Targets Iranian Military Sites

Early this morning, the Israeli military made a significant move against Iran, launching airstrikes on military sites in Western Iran's Kermanshah.

According to a military statement, the Israeli air force is currently engaging in an intelligence-based operation, targeting military infrastructure in Kermanshah. The operation involves approximately 20 Israeli fighter jets, employing over 30 munitions to hit various sites across Kermanshah, Hamedan, and Tehran.

This latest move is part of the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel, which entered its 11th day following the Israeli army's initial attacks on Iran's nuclear sites and key military commanders on June 13. The United States Air Forces also joined in the attacks on June 21, according to a post by U.S. President Donald Trump via Truth Social.

In response to these attacks, Iran has warned of severe repercussions. Armed forces spokesman Ebrahim Zolfaghari stated that the hostile acts would widen the legitimate targets of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and potentially escalate the war in the region.

Meanwhile, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is set to hold "important" talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, 48 hours after the U.S. attack on Iranian nuclear facilities.
