Israel, according to Netanyahu, possesses the capability to access all Iran's nuclear sites

Israel is flexing its military muscles, aiming to neutralize Iran's nuclear program by attacking its uranium enrichment facilities. However, experts argue that achieving this goal requires the might of the USA's "bunker-buster" bombs. Despite this, Prime Minister Netanyahu remains confident about Israel's capabilities.

In a recent interview with Israeli TV channel Kan, Netanyahu stated, "I've set a goal that we will reach all our targets and all their nuclear facilities. We have the capability to do so." Netanyahu declined to provide further details but emphasized Israel's military prowess.

Experts, however, propose that the US support would be crucial in taking out the nuclear complex at Fordo, as only the USA has the required "bunker-buster" bombs capable of penetrating the deeply buried Iranian facility within a mountain.

Netanyahu: Israel Ahead of Schedule

According to Netanyahu, recent Israeli attacks have successfully taken out approximately half of Iran's rocket launch sites. He stressed that it's not about the number of rockets Iran possesses, but rather the number of launch sites they've built up. "I believe we've already hit half of the rocket launch sites that they have," Netanyahu declared.

When questioned about the current stage of the war, Netanyahu remained evasive, hinting that the Israeli military is ahead of schedule. He emphasized the secrecy of their operations and the element of surprise they hold over Iran.

Nuclear Aspirations and Regime Change

While regime change in Iran is not an immediate goal for Israel, Netanyahu suggested that such a change could be the result of the ongoing conflict. Netanyahu explained, "The fall of the regime is primarily a matter for the Iranian people."

Khamenei as the New Hitler

Israel's Defense Minister Katz controversially compared the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to Hitler, stating, "A dictator like Khamenei, who heads a state like Iran, and has destruction of Israel as his goal, this terrible goal of Israel's destruction, cannot continue to exist."

A Complex Conflict

The war between Israel and Iran has been intensifying for days, resulting in casualties and injuries on both sides. Though Israel has not officially declared regime change in Iran as a war aim, the possibility of destabilizing the Iranian regime cannot be ruled out.

Insights

Israel's military capabilities have enabled it to hit about half of Iran's rocket launch sites. The country boasts a highly advanced air force, intelligence, and missile defense systems. However, the geographical depth of Iran and its air defense systems, as well as the threat of Iranian missile retaliation, represent critical challenges faced by Israel.

The Commission, in the midst of this complex conflict, has also been asked to submit a proposal for a directive on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to ionizing radiation, considering the potential escalation of the Israel-Iran war and the possibility of nuclear fallout.

In addition to this, the political implications of the ongoing war-and-conflicts, including the comparison of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to Hitler by Israel's Defense Minister, have raised general-news concerns about the looming threats and the potential consequences for global politics.
