Islanders' Pride Night returns with rainbow celebrations and Stars showdown
The New York Islanders are set to host their annual Pride Night this Thursday at UBS Arena. Fans can look forward to a night of celebration as the team takes on the Dallas Stars in a special themed event.
For the fifth year running, the arena's dasher boards will feature rainbow-coloured logos. The team has also planned a range of activities, including a pride-themed photobooth near Section 225 and a claw machine for pregame entertainment.
Special merchandise will be on sale, with pride-themed t-shirts and hats available in Isles Lab. Hockey is for Everyone Mystery Pucks can be purchased at Sections 109 and 110, while a Rainbow Cookie Milkshake will be the featured concession item. Long Island native Dan Kiernan will perform the National Anthem before the game. The Islanders, who have played 7,323 NHL games since their founding in 1972, will face off against the Stars as part of the evening's festivities.
The event will include fun activations across the concourse, giving fans plenty to enjoy beyond the game. With themed merchandise, food, and entertainment, the Islanders' Pride Night aims to create an inclusive atmosphere for all attendees.
