Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish Delegation Begins Five-Day Visit to Afghanistan

A seven-member delegation from Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish, an Islamist political party, has arrived in Kabul, Afghanistan, for a five-day visit. The delegation, led by Mamunul Haque, is scheduled to meet with various high-ranking officials, scholars, and Taliban leaders during their stay.

The primary focus of the talks is to explore cooperation in trade, healthcare, education, and diplomatic relations. The delegation is also expected to assess the situation of rights and women's rights in Afghanistan.

The delegation will meet with several ministers, senior scholars, and the Afghan chief justice, although the name of the Afghan Chief Justice has yet to be confirmed. The team is also expected to meet top Taliban officials and visit areas affected by the recent earthquake in Afghanistan.

The Taliban government extended the invitation for the delegation's visit. Members of the delegation include Abdul Haque, Hefazat-e-Islam Nayeb-e-Amir Abdul Hamid (Pir of Madhupur), Monir Hossain Qasemi, Mahbubur Rahman, Habibullah Mahmud Qasemi, Abdul Awal, and other prominent figures.

The delegation's visit comes at a critical time for Afghanistan, as the country grapples with economic instability, humanitarian crises, and concerns over rights and women's rights. The visit is expected to strengthen ties between scholars of both countries and provide a platform for dialogue on these pressing issues.

The delegation arrived in Kabul yesterday morning and is expected to return on the 16th of this month. The visit is a testament to the ongoing efforts to foster diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
