Ireland kicked off their ICC Women's T20 World Cup European qualifier campaign in style, defeating Germany by a comprehensive 10-wicket margin in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The Irish bowling attack was impressive from the outset, with Ava Canning and Orla Prendergast taking two and one wickets respectively. Laura Delaney was the pick of the bowlers, claiming an impressive four wickets for just nine runs in 14 deliveries.
