As Iranians continue to flee their war-torn country following Israeli military strikes, it's expected that Germany could see an influx of new Iranian refugees in the coming weeks. However, the SPD (Social Democratic Party of Germany) has expressed concerns about the Iranian regime exploiting this situation for its benefit.

"In light of the increasing number of refugees, we must emphasize the importance of maintaining our security, especially for male refugees," Sebastian Fiedler, the SPD's interior policy spokesman in the Bundestag, said to stern. "We should be vigilant against the Iranian regime, particularly the Revolutionary Guards, using the refugee crisis to sneak in their own agents among those seeking asylum."

To Fiedler, the Green Party's push for a ban on deportations for Iranian refugees residing in Germany is misguided. "Last year, only 14 Iranian nationals were deported from Germany; in the first quarter of this year, it was five," Fiedler explained. "In every case, it's assessed whether the individuals would be at risk of severe harm if they were sent back to their homeland." Despite the challenges faced in deporting Iranians, Fiedler believes it's still possible under certain conditions.

Green Party Demands Immediate Deportation Ban for Iranians

In response to the increasing refugee crisis, the parliamentary manager of the Green Party, Filiz Polat, advocated for an "immediate nationwide ban on deportations to Iran." Polat voiced concerns that refugees seeking asylum might face death or persecution if deported to a dictatorship and war zone, as portrayed by the media[1][2].

While there are concerns about foreign intelligence activities and infiltration by agents from other countries within Germany’s borders[3], there is no documented evidence or specific warnings from the SPD concerning possible infiltration by Mullah agents among Iranian refugees seeking asylum in Germany.[4] However, it is essential to remain vigilant against potential security threats, especially during times of increased migration.
