Iran has once more brandished a menacing cloud over Israel, promising a colossal response to its attacks. According to army spokesman Resa Sajjad, during a televised address on Sunday, this "crushing retaliation by the valiant Iranian warriors" will leave Israel uninhabitable. He urgently encourages its citizens to vacate the region, warning that even the supposed safety of bomb shelters will be nonexistent.

Israel initiated a massive offensive against Iran on Friday. Its military has since bombarded nuclear and military facilities within the country, leaving a tragic death toll of over 224 people and injuring more than a thousand. Ministry of Health spokesman Hussein Kermanpur confirmed that more than 90% of the casualties are civilians.

In response to Israel's aggression, Iran dispatched rocket and drone attacks on Israeli targets. Israel and Iran have engaged in mutual retaliatory attacks for the past three days.

Media outlets such as ntv.de and AFP report that the conflict between Israel and Iran has witnessed an escalation since mid-June 2025, with both sides trading hundreds of military strikes since June 13. Residential areas, power grids, and oil refineries have sustained damage in both countries.

Internationally, the conflict has garnered attention and concern. U.S. President Donald Trump has pledged to staunchly support Israel's defense and has cautioned Iran against targeting the U.S., promising an unprecedented military response. Trump has also hinted at brokering a nuclear arms deal between the two nations to bring an end to the violence, though the timeline for any resolution remains vague.

As tensions remain high with no obvious roadmap to de-escalation, both countries seem trapped in a constant cycle of strikes and counterstrikes, raising concerns about further instability in the region.

The community policy on social media platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter, may need to address heightened tensions between Israel and Iran, encouraging users to exercise caution when discussing the ongoing conflict.

Meanwhile, the employment policy within both countries might face challenges due to the escalation of war-and-conflicts in the region, potentially leading to job losses in industries like manufacturing and tourism, as well as politics and general-news media outlets.
