Iowa State's Benjamin Brahmer Hospitalized After Tackle, Discharged

Iowa State tight end Benjamin Brahmer was hospitalized after a tackle during Saturday's game against Arizona State. Brahmer was taken to Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa, where he was evaluated and later discharged.

The incident occurred in the second quarter when Brahmer was tackled by Arizona State's Keith Abney II. Brahmer initially struggled to get up and appeared to be in severe pain. He attempted to walk off the field but collapsed, prompting medics to rush to his aid.

Coach Matt Campbell provided an update on Brahmer's condition, describing it as positive. Further updates are expected on Tuesday. Brahmer, who had 29 receptions for 319 yards and three touchdowns this season, was conscious and able to move his limbs after the tackle.
