Invitation issued by Dresden sports clubs: Sniffing training event
Dresden, Germany - The sports clubs of Dresden have joined forces to encourage youth participation in sports following a decline due to the pandemic. The Dresdner SC 1898 and the Dresden Titans basketball team are leading the charge, offering a two-week trial training starting from 4th September.
A total of 300 training times are available, catering to children of all ages, from one year old to young adults. The extensive range of sports on offer includes traditional favourites like Aikido, as well as more contemporary choices such as Zumba.
The goal of this initiative is to inspire Dresden's youth for sports, with the clubs aiming to secure their future talent through this action. The training times and dates can be found on the official Dresden sports website: https://www.dresden-sport.de/sportangebote/schnuppertraining/.
This two-year action was initiated by the sports youth and city sports association in response to the decline in sports participation among Dresden's youth post-Corona. The training is not limited to traditional sports, offering a wide range of activities for participants to choose from.
The clubs hope that this trial training will not only inspire young people to take up sports but also help secure the future of sports clubs in Dresden. With many children having stopped participating in sports clubs after the outbreak, this action is a significant step towards encouraging a healthier, more active generation.
So, whether you're a budding Aikido master or a Zumba enthusiast, or simply looking to get involved in sports for the first time, head over to the Dresden sports website to find a training time that suits you. Let's get Dresden moving again!
