Investment boost in Albufeira
In a remarkable four-year tenure, Mayor José Carlos Rolo has spearheaded an unprecedented wave of public investments in Albufeira, totaling €144 million across 277 contracts. Future housing projects are underway in Fontainhas (over €13 million) and Quinta dos Barros (approximately €6 million). A new Fontainhas Home and Day Centre, budgeted at around €8 million, is planned and expected to be completed by the end of the year.
The renovation of the Ferreiras Sports Centre and the construction of the Ferreiras Cemetery are among the noteworthy projects currently in progress. The financial commitment for the municipality's projects amounts to approximately €144 million.
