Kamra pokes fun at Mumbai Police

On 'X,' Kamra boasted that the police squad were on their way to an address he hadn't inhabited for a decade, a waste of their precious time and taxpayer resources. "Going to an address where I haven't lived for the last 10 years is a waste of your time & public resources..." Kamra's witty post read.

Previously, three different cases were lodged against Kamra at Khar police station due to his controversial taunts towards Shinde. One complaint came from the Mayor of Jalgaon, while the other two stemmed from a hotelier and a businessman from Nashik, according to Mumbai Police. Khar cops have sent Kamra two prior invitations for questioning, but the comic hasn't shown up yet.

On March 27, the Mumbai police requested Kamra to appear on March 31 at Khar police station for further inquiry in the case. This is the third time Kamra has been asked to report and answer some burning questions due to an FIR filed by Shiv Sena MLA Murji Patel at the Khar station. Earlier, the Madras High Court on March 28 provided temporary anticipatory bail to Kamra in connection with several complaints lodged against him.

Justice Sunder Mohan granted Kamra respite until April 7 under certain conditions. Kamra petitioned the Madras High Court for transit anticipatory bail, stating he's been threatened after his recent satirical jabs.
