Investigative Arrests in BPOL NRW: Accused Individuals Charged with Harassment, Nazi Salutes, and Possession of a Knife by the Federal Police Force

A 44-year-old Romanian national was arrested at Essen Central Station on September 18, 2025, following reports of harassment towards passengers. The incident occurred around 3:30 PM, and officers took the man to the station for identification.

According to the news transmitted by the Federal Police Directorate Saint Augustin, the man was previously banned from the station due to aggressive begging. However, he ignored the ban and returned, causing further disturbances.

During the search, officers found a knife and other dangerous tools on the man. This led to an investigation for violating weapons laws. Additionally, the man was accused of violating privacy, using symbols of unconstitutional organizations, and violating copyright laws due to the recorded and photographed material he threatened to publish.

The man refused to leave when asked by DB AG employees and instead shouted "Heil Hitler!". This incident has been reported to the authorities, but there is no publicly available information regarding the man's identity.
