Investigation underway involving Miss Merkel on a cruise liner

The episode was filmed earlier this year on the TUI Cruises cruise ship, Mein Schiff 5. Katharina Thalbach, who is 71 years old, also plays a character based on former Chancellor Angela Merkel in the series.
