Firebrand Senator Hawley Intensifies Probe into 'Stage-managed' Anti-ICE Riots
Investigation Expansion by Senator Josh Hawley Against Organizations Allegedly Financing Anti-ICE Protests, Issues Subpoena Warnings
Jumping onto the hot seat, Democratic attorney Julian Epstein joins 'The Brian Kilmeade Show' to discuss politics, feuds with Gov. Gavin Newsom, and the ongoing future of the party.
Senator Josh Hawley, R-Mo., ramped up his investigation into the financing of anti-ICE protests sweeping the nation, threatening subpoenas against at least three organizations.
Hawley disclosed that he hasn't yet heard back from the organizations he's questioning about their potential role in recent LA riots. Hawley stated in an interview with our website Digital that he will issue subpoenas if they don't comply, which they have yet to do so far.
The senator also signaled his intention to hold public hearings on the matter.
"When it's not out in the open, it's worthless," Hawley explained.

Sen. Josh Hawley posits that the anti-ICE protests springing up across the country are far from spontaneous.
On Wednesday, Hawley penned letters to three left-wing groups, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), and the Union del Barrio (UD).
CHIRLA failed to respond to our website Digital's request for comment on Wednesday. Neither PSL nor UD responded to Thursday's requests for comment.
"This isn't natural, and it's blatantly obvious as the riots are spreading to cities like Chicago and St. Louis," Hawley told Fox. "Someone is bankrolling all of this, and we need to dig deeper."
VideoThe letters request that all three organizations divulge internal communications concerning protest planning or funding, as well as financial documents related to the same, including third-party contracts, vendor agreements, and various other business relationships.
"Let me stress: financing chaos isn't freedom of speech," Hawley wrote. "It's aiding and abetting criminal actions. Therefore, you must halt any continued engagement, support, or promotion of these illicit activities at once."
Hawley also sought travel records for individuals associated with the organizations, provided they've been reimbursed, as well as the organizations' donor lists.

Exclusive IRS records acquired by our website reveal that CHIRLA has received approximately $34 million in government grants, including three from President Biden's administration for $750,000.
Despite President Trump withdrawing funding for CHIRLA, the organization continues to receive state and city grant funds to support its attorneys combating deportations.
CHIRLA has created what's known as the 'Rapid Response Network,' a hotline that immigrants utilize to report ICE raids. This network subsequently disseminates text alerts, offering migrants a chance to evade capture.
Trump has previously expressed his belief that numerous rioters and protesters in LA are professional agitators rather than genuine demonstrators.
"The rabble-rousers fueling the unrest are paid provocateurs. They're revolutionaries. They should face jail time," Trump stated, also suggesting he'd back arresting Gov. Gavin Newsom for his handling of the disturbances.
