Investigation and Analysis of the Execution of Implementation Policies

The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has announced a new initiative called "Il Calcio aiuta," aiming to support the activities of grassroots sports clubs operating in areas affected by the seismic events of 2016. The project primarily focuses on local football (soccer) clubs in the 51 affected municipalities.

The Multifunctional Hall of the Council of Ministers hosted the presentation of the "Il Calcio aiuta" initiative, attended by Carlo Tavecchio, the president of the FIGC, and other notable figures such as Luca Lotti, Maria Elena Boschi, Vasco Errani, and Paolo Maldini.

Tavecchio stated that football is an element of cohesion and inclusion, and the FIGC intends to intervene with the same spirit and determination to help the populations affected by the earthquake. The federation believes that playing football can alleviate the suffering of earthquake victims.

The FIGC considers itself an active civil protection system and plans to undertake other initiatives. The "Il Calcio aiuta" project includes infrastructure improvements and transport support on the territory, as well as technical support for clubs involved in the Youth and School Sector.

Puma and Liski are collaborating to provide technical material and sports equipment for the clubs in need. The San Marino Football Federation, Japan, and Turkey Federations have directly contributed to the initiative, and UEFA and its president, Ceferin, are involved in the FIGC's fundraising campaign.

FIFA has announced its commitment to the initiative, and the Leagues are also involved in the "Il Calcio aiuta" project. The FIGC needs to collect many funds for the initiative, and the aim of the initiative is to support the activities of these 77 societies in the 51 involved municipalities to restore normality to the system.

The FIGC is ready to give its maximum to achieve this goal, with the patronage of the Ministry of Sport and the collaboration of the extraordinary commissioner for the reconstruction, Vasco Errani. The initiative is a testament to the power of sport in bringing communities together and providing support in times of need.
