Investigation against Lord Pádel to conclude within two months; household members, wife and son, continue incarceration
In a recent turn of events, the judge of control has granted a two-month extension for the closure of the investigation against four individuals, including "Lord Paddle," whose real name is Pablo "N," and his associates. The decision was made in relation to an incident that occurred on July 19 at Club Alfa Paddle in Atizapán de Zaragoza, where "Lord Paddle" is alleged to have assaulted a paddle instructor, Israel "N."
The assault on Israel "N" was not an isolated incident. Reports suggest that the aggression was allegedly joined by private security elements, as well as his partner, his wife, and his son. Israel "N," who is a paddle instructor and continues recovering from the attack, is currently unable to work due to his recovery.
The judge of control has maintained that the case is a result of popular justice generated by pressure on social networks. However, the victim's legal defender, Alejandro Aceves, has expressed Israel "N's" fear of the release of two of the accused.
Following his arrest on August 15 at the Cancun Airport, "Lord Paddle" and three others (Alejandro "N," Othón "N," Karla Alejandra "N," and Germán "N") were detained. While Alejandro "N" and Othón "N" have since been released, Karla Alejandra "N" and Germán "N" remain in preventive prison, admitted on August 17. They are currently housed in Barrientos Prison.
During the hearing, the defense of the accused tried to free Karla Alejandra "N" and Germán "N" through an injunction, but the resource was rejected. The lawyer Rafael Reyes Retana Valadez accused that the resolution did not comply with the law.
The extension will allow the parties to present evidence and carry out diligences around the case. Meanwhile, "Lord Paddle" and his associate, Othón "N," will continue the process in freedom after obtaining a federal injunction against the arrest order. However, Karla Alejandra "N" and Germán "N" will remain in custody during the ongoing investigation.
The case remains a topic of discussion and concern, with the victim, Israel "N," expressing his apprehension about the release of two of the accused. The investigation and legal process related to the Tlalnepantla case are ongoing, and updates are expected in the coming months.
