sources say Butler's security peeps found a smashed-up glass door and seen his place turned upside down as they walked in. The alarmed security crew contacted the cops who, unluckily, came up empty-handed after scouring the premises for suspects.

Cops seconded TMZ's info that a stack of cash, a gun, and other belongings were nicked during the burglary. A thorough inventory is required to get a clear picture of the total damage.
