Introducing the Contenders for The British Bake-Off 2025: Get to Know the Fresh Faces!

The 16th series of The Great British Bake Off is set to air on September 2, 2025, with a captivating lineup of 12 contestants hailing from various professions and backgrounds.

Among the bakers is Aaron Mountford-Myles, a Senior Systems Architect from London, who brings a unique blend of French patisserie and Caribbean flavors to the competition. Aaron, who is openly queer, is also experimenting with Asian flavors such as miso and yuzu.

Hassan, an Analytical Research & Development Scientist from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, takes an analytical approach to baking, often incorporating nutty flavors from his Pakistani roots.

Iain Ross, a Software Engineer from Belfast, adds to the diverse group with no additional detailed background information available at this time.

Jasmine Mitchell, a 23-year-old Medical Student from London, is the youngest contestant and brings dedication and passion to the tent, with her baking skills showcased alongside her academic pursuits.

Lesley Holloway, a Hairdresser from Kent, brings energy and passion to her baking, and is eager to inspire her granddaughter, Mabel, to follow in her footsteps. Lesley is an avid birdwatcher and gardener, and serves cakes to her hairdressing clients.

Nadia Mercuri, a Hairdresser from Liverpool, is a former personal trainer and is known for her novelty cakes and creative takes on classics. Nadia enjoys dancing in the kitchen and has a penchant for fusing Italian and Indian cuisine.

Nataliia Richardson, an Office Assistant from East Yorkshire, brings an international flavor and perspective to the competition, having moved from Ukraine four years ago.

Pui Man, a Bridal Dress Designer from Essex who was born in Hong Kong, brings artistic skill from her bridal design to baking. Pui Man rediscovered the joy of baking in lockdown and volunteers to distribute surplus food to her community.

Toby Littlewood, a Business Development Executive from Warwickshire, has a passion for bread baking and leans towards classic baking styles focusing on health. Toby has spent the last three years renovating his home and tries to bring a simple, healthy take to his bakes. Toby is also a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Tom, a Creative Entrepreneur from London, has been with his boyfriend for three years and is reconnecting with food as a creative outlet. Tom enjoys foraging and cooking with family, and often adds creative twists to his bakes.

The contest will be judged by Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith, with Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding returning as hosts. The series promises to be an exciting culinary event, showcasing the diverse talents and unique backgrounds of its contestants.
