"Freshening Up the Fame Jungle" - Welcome to the New Sala

Hey there! Let's dive into the sixth season of "Battle of the Reality Stars" on RTL Zwei and soon on RTL (airs Wednesdays at 20:15). This season, Arabella Kiesbauer (56) steps in as the host, replacing Cathy Hummels (37).

In the premiere episode, things feel fresh as Martin Semmelrogge (69) and Ailton (51) stroll through the Thai jungle together – a new twist on the participants' traditional arrival by boat. Actor Martin introduces himself as a "legend" to the younger viewers, while Ailton, known as "The Blitzer" in his active days and now sporting a rounder physique, shares his explosive energy: "A moment of boom."

As Martin and Ailton arrive in the Sala, the show seems to follow familiar beats from past seasons. The stars are introduced one by one by boat, with Annina Semmelhaack (49) hailing her return to reality TV. After stints in the adult entertainment industry and "Big Brother," she's been notably politically active for the FDP.

Dennis Lodi Brings the Maurice Dziwak Vibes

Hati Suarez (24) doesn't boast Annina's chest size, but she's no stranger to showcasing skin thanks to her past role in "Köln 50667." Hati refers to herself as a "hottie" and "alpha girl." Following her is Dennis Lodi (29), a mama's boy who's earned comparisons to Maurice Dziwak (26) due to his tiger tattoo and consistent chatter about his mom.

Dennis confidently dives naked into the pool, keeping his socks on. He doesn't shy away from passing gas, keeping spirits high.

Blast from the Past - Previous Dschungelcamp Rivals Reunite

Jens Hilbert (47) is mistaken for a woman by the already present females. The hair removal king and "Promi Big Brother" winner is considered a "hunk" by Hati. Daymian Weiß (20), on the other hand, doesn't win over Hati after his past encounters with Walentina Doronina (24), her arch-nemesis from "Germany Shore."

Two old "Dschungelcamp" rivals, Anouschka Renzi (60) and Linda Nobat (30), meet. The actress and the half-as-old former "Bachelor" candidate greet each other warmly.

Simon Seals His Spot for the Next Round

In the first (psycho-)game, the reality stars secretly assign mostly negative attributes to their colleagues. Dennis, who doesn't know the meaning of the word "simplicity," is labeled as such. In exchange, he is granted immunity from the first elimination.

On the second day, more celebrities join the group as usual. Former "Germany's next Topmodel" candidate Giuliana Farfalla (29) has a small refrigerator next to her bed in her contract, filled with beauty products.

Giuliana is followed by Stephen Dürr (50). Known for his loud and repetitive claims, he attributes his youthful appearance to regular application of his own sperm.

The group must face their first challenge to avoid punishment. On the beach, they complete five simple tasks in pairs, under time pressure. Dennis' inability to understand the term "shake" causes them to fail.

Complaints and "Bleh-Gate"

Only two out of five tasks are successfully completed by the celebrities. As punishment, they must carry luggage up the stairs every time they go to the bathroom. During one of these trips, Giuliana shows Jens her operated intimate area out of medical interest. Daymian is surprised. He had thought Giuliana was a "normal" woman.

Speaking of Daymian: Hati has developed a liking for him, despite initially calling him a "dog" from her rival Valentina. The two youngsters are flirting harmlessly.

In the first episode, things remain relatively peaceful. Even the Truth Wall fails to cause any arguments. Dennis' flatulence initiates the only conflict, but only since Giuliana joined the group. She viciously criticizes Dennis' behavior and his lack of remorse, claiming that "passing gas is unhealthy."

In the last game of the episode, two reality stars secure their places. The pairs, determined by production, must memorize photos and recreate them using the objects shown. Hati and Daymian, seemingly setup by the producers, perform the best and are safe, along with Dennis.

Discussing Arabella Kiesbauer - Stephen demands excitement

For the first time, it's off to Arabella Kiesbauer for the "Hour of Truth." Two candidates must leave at the beginning, not just the laggards Giuliana and Stephen, but also the stars who entered on day one get to eliminate one from their midst.

Kiesbauer brings a different style than Cathy Hummels, who played the role of the icy fate goddess. The stars sit casually at high tables, just like in the '90s at her cult talk show "Arabella." The Austrian grills the stars with direct questions, much like she did at ProSeven.

Stephen demands excitement from the candidates, those who "slack" must go. He and Giuliana vote off Ailton, who has yet to show much of himself and seems homesick. He hasn't exhibited a single "moment of boom." Anouschka is appalled by the disrespect shown to the Brazilian's life achievements.

In the reality stars' drama-filled debut, no clear elimination candidate emerges at first. Despite mutual assurances of liking each other, Linda and Anouschka choose each other. But it's eventually Annina who is eliminated. Similar to Ailton, she didn't deliver enough drama for her peers.

However, Annina and Ailton don't have to leave immediately. They are given a headband with a "wobbly" sign to mark their precarious status. Only one of them will have to pack their bags and leave in the next episode.
