Interview with Graphic Artist Alex Falconi
Alex Falconi, a native of the south shore of Long Island, NY, has made a name for himself in the world of visual effects (VFX) and motion graphics. His career in the industry began in 2015, when he was a senior at Seton Hall, working part-time at MLB Network.
Falconi's work is inspired by a wide range of sources, including music, design, pop culture, current events, podcasts, articles, and trending topics in music, movies, fashion, or TV. One of his favourite TV series is Atlanta on FX.
When it comes to his creative process, Falconi prepares for big projects with a large cold brew and fully charged AirPods, and enjoys a fire playlist during epic sessions. He also snacks on raw almonds and consumes a lot of water throughout his work hours.
In terms of tools, Falconi uses Mocha Pro and Sapphire plugins in his work. One keyboard shortcut he can't live without is Command + Z, the undo command.
Falconi's portfolio includes a variety of impressive projects, but he is particularly proud of the MLB Network Showcase project due to its use of a variety of skills and customized elements.
When he needs a break from creative work, Falconi scrolls through Twitter, looks at memes, rides his bicycle, or goes rock climbing.
One interesting fact about Falconi is that he would like to collaborate with Donald Glover in the future. However, there is no direct information available about his background or career path in the sports industry.
Despite this, Falconi's talent and dedication to his craft have made him a respected figure in the VFX and motion graphics community. His work continues to impress and inspire, and we look forward to seeing what he will create next.
