International youth football tournaments to take place in Dubai, with 44 teams from Middle East and North Africa set to compete in a globally significant event, dubbed as MENA Cup 2025.

The footballing world is abuzz with anticipation as the countdown begins for the third edition of the MENA Cup, scheduled to take place from April 9 to 14, 2025, in Dubai. This prestigious youth tournament, organised by CBF Performance, promises to be a global spectacle, attracting over 1,000 attendees, including coaches, officials, and families.

The tournament will feature 44 teams from 12 countries across six continents, showcasing the best young talent from around the world. Some of the high-profile international clubs participating include Norwich City (England), Melbourne City (Australia), Corinthians (Brazil), Columbus Crew (USA), and Rangers (Scotland).

In the Under-13 category, Barcelona Academy, Melbourne City, and Manchester City Academy will go head-to-head, while the Under-12 category will see teams from UAE, Scotland, England, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Kazakhstan compete. The Under-15 category will see Corinthians (Brazil), Columbus Crew (USA), and top regional sides battling it out, with the Under-16 category headlined by Manchester City Academy and Kavuy Celtic (Zambia). The Under-14 category includes teams from Australia, Zambia, Northern Ireland, and UAE.

The MENA Cup 2025 is more than just a tournament; it's an opportunity for young players, aged 12 to 16, to showcase their skills in 120 matches across five age categories. Entry to matches is free to the public, and there will be on-site fan activities and family-friendly events, making it an enjoyable experience for all.

The Dubai Sports Council supports the MENA Cup, and the tournament will be held at the Jebel Ali Golf & Shooting Club. The official group draws for all age categories have been announced, and the tournament will be streamed live on its YouTube channel, ensuring global access for fans, families, and scouts.

Teddy Sheringham continues as the international ambassador for the MENA Cup, and the tournament has appointed a local ambassador, Lucas Pimenta, who is a UAE national team player and Al Wahda defender.
