International Partnership Established between DAZN and NHL for Global Streaming Services

The National Hockey League (NHL) has entered into a strategic partnership with DAZN, a leading global sports streaming platform. This partnership, set to commence from the 2025-26 season, marks a significant step in the NHL's global strategy and its commitment to engaging with its rapidly growing international fan base.

Starting next season, NHL.TV will move from its current service to DAZN, becoming a part of its multi-sport offering that includes NFL Game Pass, PGA Tour Pass, and FIBA's Courtside 1891. This collaboration will bring the thrilling world of NHL hockey to a broad international audience, with the exception of the USA, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. The rights cover all other international markets outside these excluded countries.

Steve McArdle, NHL Chief Operating Officer, emphasised the importance of media distribution in the league's global strategy, stating, "We are excited to partner with DAZN, a platform that shares our commitment to innovation, gold standard technology, and exceptional content delivery."

Shay Segev, DAZN Group CEO, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying, "We are thrilled to bring the NHL to our platform, further enriching our sports offering and providing an innovative, accessible, and immersive viewing experience for fans worldwide."

The partnership will see NHL.TV promoted and integrated across the DAZN platform, making it easy for fans to access the service on any device where DAZN is available. NHL.TV will be available as a standalone subscription or as an add-on to existing DAZN packages, offering fans greater flexibility and convenience.

Existing NHL.TV subscribers will receive details on the migration to DAZN in the coming months. This partnership is expected to allow the NHL to expand its global reach and engage more effectively with its international fan base, which is a significant priority for the league.

DAZN will become the exclusive home of NHL.TV in nearly 200 countries, providing sports action to fans globally. The NHL-DAZN partnership aims to deliver sports entertainment to fans around the world, breaking geographical barriers and bringing the excitement of NHL hockey to more fans than ever before.
