International Music Concert at Park University, Headlined by Violinist David Radzynski and Pianist Lolita Lisovskaya-Sayevich

Mark your calendars! The International Center for Music (ICM) is set to host an extraordinary concert on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. This event, serving as the season finale of the ICM's 2024-25 concert season, will take place at the 1900 Building in Mission Woods, Kan., instead of the originally scheduled venue, the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel on the University's flagship Parkville Campus.

The concert promises a captivating performance, featuring renowned violinist David Radzynski and pianist Lolita Lisovskaya-Sayevich. Radzynski, a former concertmaster of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and the Cleveland Orchestra, earned a graduate certificate in music performance/violin from the Park ICM in 2014. Lisovskaya-Sayevich, a virtuoso with a career that spans the globe, won the Iowa Piano International Competition in 2007 while studying at Park University. She also studied under legendary pianist and Park ICM founder/artistic director Stanislav Ioudenitch, earning a graduate certificate in applied music/piano in 2008.

The programme for the evening includes a selection of masterpieces. The concert will feature "Violin Sonata No. 32 in B-Flat Major, K. 454," composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, "Five Melodies for Violin and Piano, Op. 35," composed by Sergei Prokofiev, "Personal Verses for Violin and Piano," composed by Jan Radzynski, and "Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 3 in C-Minor, Op. 45," composed by Edvard Grieg.

This unforgettable concert is a free event, but an RSVP is required in advance. Tickets for the concert are available in advance through Eventbrite. General public tickets cost $30, and student tickets cost $10. It's advisable to secure your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Please note that the concert originally scheduled for Friday, April 11, featuring Lisovskaya-Sayevich and oboist Hansjörg Schellenberger, has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. For more information about the ICM Orchestra's season finale performance, visit the ICM's website.
