International Motorbike and Outdoor Exhibition Kicks Off in Ho Chi Minh City
The city of Ho Chi Minh is buzzing with excitement as the International Sports and Outdoor Exhibition, and the International Two-wheel Exhibition, take centre stage at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from August 14 to 16, 2025. Co-organised by VINEXAD and the Vietnam Automobile, Motorcycle and Bicycle Association (VAMOBA), these events are showcasing the latest products and technologies in sports, outdoor leisure, fitness, healthcare, and two-wheel industries.
The exhibitions are a testament to the global integration of Vietnam's sports industry, with over 350 enterprises from 15 countries and territories participating. Among the participants, the China Sports Expo pavilion stands out, featuring more than 50 companies from Chinese provinces like Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, and Zhejiang. These enterprises are exhibiting modern sports and training gear, along with high-performance apparel.
The Cycle Expo, a dedicated exhibition for bicycles, e-bikes, and related accessories, is also part of the ongoing exhibitions. Major international bicycle and component brands like Chevaux, Nesto, Calli, Merida, Dahon, and Garmin are present, underscoring the diversity of exhibitors.
Nguyen Hong Minh, deputy director of the Sports Authority of Vietnam, attended the opening ceremony and stated that the events offer opportunities for connection, collaboration, and updates on global trends in sports and entertainment. He further emphasised that the exhibitions serve as important trade platforms fostering partnerships, investments, and connections amid rising consumer spending on sports and green mobility solutions in Vietnam and globally.
The sports industry in Vietnam is experiencing significant growth, with an increase in consumer spending. The events are attracting over 350 enterprises from 15 countries and territories, reflecting strong international interest and exchange. Visitors from more than 45 countries are expected to attend, making these exhibitions a global gathering of sports enthusiasts, businesses, and innovators.
